FSQ is blessed with the privilege to join the Discotheke party - thrown by Rej Dhingra (aka January Black) and Parker Maass. It takes place roughly monthly in Los Angeles at Apotheke LA.​

We kicked off the Discotheke party’s DJ mix series in March 2023 and we believe it’s the best representation of our own FSQ productions set against a palette of other dance music jams across BPMs, tempos, musical moods and genres. What to expect this week in New York City!

THURSDAY 8/3 - BROOKLYN DANCE PARTY - I'll be representing FSQ with my good friend, bassist, uber producer and studio king, W. Andrew Raposo (of Midnight Magic and 79.5) at Sleepwalk NYC on Bushwick Ave, right at the Montrose Avenue L stop. We are joined by Miss Alicia of Sweet Kicks NYC and Umboma. Andrew and I shared a live band billing at Soul Clap Records’ 11 year anniversary party earlier this year and and he has been instrumental in production and engineering of past FSQ original and remix tracks. FSQ recently remixed 79.5’s “BDFQ” for release later this year. Join us at Sleepwalk at 10:30am thru 4am - this party is going to feature DJ sets buoyed by disco, funk, house, Balearic, New wave, and general “danciness”.

FRIDAY 8/4 - BROOKLYN SUNSET ROOFTOP DJ SET WITH VIEWS - I return to the glamorous 1 Hotel and their rooftop lounge / bar, Harriet’s, for a sunset DJ set outdoors 6pm-10pm with Brooklyn Bridge views and a very Balearic FSQ DJ set replete with other musical sultry vibrations crossing genres from disco to disco-not-disco to world dance, afrobeats and sunset soundtracks. FREE, RSVP for a table.

SATURDAY 8/5 - LEO COCKTAIL PARTY BROOKLYN - I'm entering my Chuck Da Fonk birthday week and celebrating with birthday man and fellow Leo, Project Matt. Hosted by DJ Nope and Tomin8r at the wonderful draft cocktail brasserie, Wandering Barman on Meserole Street right in the heart of the debate on whether that’s Bushwick / East Williamsburg - off Bushwick avenue also near Montrose Ave L stop. 8pm-1am, FREE.

SUNDAY 8/6 - 2ND ANNUAL CHUCK DA FONK NYC BIRTHDAY JAM - Sunday night 10pm I'm returning to Jupiter Disco in Brooklyn for MY 2nd Annual Birthday JAM in this legendary and intimate club / cocktail bar. It's going to be a sleazy disco-house-funk affair that follows Soul Clap’s day party (3pm-10pm) at Public Works. I hope to see you at both parties - 10pm til as late as y’all wanna rock it (ok, well 4am) just keep the dancefloor jamming! Opening DJ set by the stellar SHEZUS THRICE. FREE, but come early because Jupiter Disco packs it out.
